India is emerging as the biggest market for all kinds of consumer goods which is the reason why all kinds of retail companies are rushing to India & setting up their outlets. China is a more closed market in terms of consumer goods so its not that good for the foreign companies in comparison to india!!

It is an established fact that with the three times higher purchasing power vis a vis Indians, China is the better market for the consumer goods.
