India is known for its tough but quality education. The recently introduced changes in the CBSE pattern are likely to drastically lower the standard of education in India. Is it not a retrograde step?

India still has one of the best educational systems in the world. It is just the pattern that is altered a little, but definitely not rejected or comprehensively changed. The way of educating remains, since the board does not believe in degrading the quality of education. The pattern and the question paper format will be decided by the Board. This is the ideal way to reduce burden on students.
This measure/step was taken by taking into considerations loads of factors and worldwide consultations. The motive is to make education simple by carving a stress-free study environment.
CBSE (The Central Board of Secondary Education) is a central educational board operated by the Indian Union Government for both public and private schools.
