No this is not true u know india is in third world countries.about 30 corror people living under the poverty line and south asia is poorest region of the world.(according to world development report 2007).

India is RICH in the sense that India has every resources to make rich living of all Indians. But availing the resources equally by all Indians is impossible here. For example, when many places in the northern India are frequently affected by floods, there are huge area of waste lands left uncultivated for want of water in the southern part of India. Utilising the water where it is immensly needed is not a hard thing to be done. Connecting the ribvers in such a way that the water is used in all parts of India is still under discussion stage only. Even if there is excess water and results in floods let all of us share the burden. Almost all the vacant lands can be brought under cultivation and there will be no need for the import of food grains from other Nations. Is not possible that poor people will stay in a rich country? The country is rich but we are yet to know how to exploit htis richness. Hence we r suffering
