Q.
India has reaped the fruit from tendulkar for two decades and jacked him to the level of god, and why we r denaying few chance to him to make decision on his own? Do n't he deserve some better treatment than what he is going thro'. Naturally he would like to prove himself before he quit and can we not wait for that? There r still 10 players to fill the gaps and r they doing their job?

India has never reaped anything frpm TENDULKAR.
Be it abundantly clear.
He always played for RECORDS, FAME & MONEY and contributed " 0 " as trainer /inspiration / captain.
True, a great & outstanding player in himself, but never for the country.
India is only internationally famed by giving birth to a player like TENDULKAR.

We play games for national pride. not for personal pride. If we allow all oldies who did good for Indian cricket, no player will retire.. Everything has some limit. Let us make one rule.. beyond 30-32 no player will play.. Then we will always get an enthusiastic young team. Foe oldies, we can have other matches..Worship them with Arti..or give them Bharat Ratna ..who denies? But why ruin national pride? It is a shame that we cannot muster courage to tell old players to retire.
