Dear Smit...there is an elaborate description of the PANDAVA forces begining from chapter 1.14...this is an attempt by sanjay to realise the disaster the war will lead into and to somehow pursuade Dhritrashtra to call of the war...The chapter II f the sreemad bhagwad Geeta says that except Dhritrashtra NO other individual alive during that time had the power to call back the armies from the field of kurukshetra . hence the description of he pandava forces by sanjay is just an attempt to prevent the war....swami chinmayananda...Best regards...swati
