Watch Tower, USA, has been certifying for many years now that Keralites are the only people in the world who maintain highest standards even at low income. Jaquiline Onasis used to visit Kerala almost every year and that was not because she liked the natural beauty of Kerala. She liked Keralites. Jaqi's was not so easy a woman having had taken such a special liking. Keralites perhaps are the only people in the world who who are seen everywhere in the world. They take very dangerous risk and responsibility to go out of their home and homeplace to seek work and settle anywhere in the world, even alone in their early teen ages. They are perhaps the only people in the world who cannot be identified rich or poor based on dress and food, because all dress up in almost likeness and eat same food. They are well educated and and maintain their religious culture in optimum level. The are no beggers amongst Keralites, they demand. It is said, whatever merits that keralites have......surfaces only when he/she goes out of the state.
And i am convinced that is so. So u have to ask people who have met keralites outside the state for their merits, and for demerits, go straight to kerala and live there for some time (not as tourists). U will then also come to know why a keralite is not very good in his own place !

Guru-vayur and ast-mangla prashnam with tambool-prashnam and cauries have been unique as seen by me in few visits which I use to take with my Editor Kavita of Express-star-teller for Raj-pranam for annual issues .People are gentle and simple.Very nice place,no doubt.Although all places in This great country have some or the other merits of its own,yet the Kerala is basically a large-heart allowing Christians and Moslems as Guests since very inception. It must have been short-comings of the then orthodox Brahmins whose indifferent unthoughtful,unfar-thought-of and non-visualistic approach could have been responsible for conversion. No body happily want to crack ties of base religion,so they are performing many ceremonies in consonance with traditions .Might be for outer shell they be christians or moslems, yet rhey are our dissented brothers and Hindoos by heart whose inner complexes and feelings have never been read or ,if read, always misread.

Kerala is said to be God's own country because the Lord Himself descended there as Lord Vamana.it is such a sacred soil.but the fact is that Mother India herself,is sacred in every bit of her soil.since avatars are born only in India and no where else in the world.
keralites are the most pious people.they have God firmly in their hearts.though most of the other Indians are more westernised, most of the keralites have a right to call themselves true Indians.because they are traditional,pure-hearted and beloved people of God.
