The Royal College of Art is located in London on Kensington Gore, facing Hyde Park and next to the Royal Albert Hall. Along with a cluster of colleges and museums it forms part of an area now known as 'Albertopolis' from Hyde Park stretching south to the Victoria and Albert Museum which owes its existence to the Great Exhibition of 1851.
