In Tarak Mehta's Gulabo incident it is shown that women's empowerment organisations misuse the law to entrap innocent men. Is it a lesson that, while women protection laws should be made care must be taken that they are not misused by unscrupulous women?

What is women empowerment after all? It means giving power or opportunities or scope to women so that they can come at par with men overcoming the natural constraints or age-old discriminatory social attitudes and physical factors. But such an empowerment are generally required for those women who are trying but not finding a solution.
In such cases, when the liberal provisions like sections fin Indian Penal Code relating to atrocities on brides, or the Domestic Violence Act absurdly give scope to unrelated women, it is very much tempting for the notorious women to collect a pound of flesh that are not due to them. Many a liberal qualified young men are taking anticipatory bails and labor under sever mental strain caused by the so called innocent exploited women and their close friends and relatives and kins
