The government has no credibility at all. Mayavathy plans to spend 2600 crores on statues.Central government should dismiss the state government and put Mayavati behind bar. Simple as that. Millions of dollars was transferd to Quattrocchi's Bank account, related bank receipt was shown. Thereafter millions of dollars spent on trying this case for the last two decades still not ending with conviction of the guilty. There are hundreds of corrupt officials caught but not yet brought to book.Government sanction is not forthcoming. The government should answer this before anything else. The government has lots of PSU's which are lossmaking, simply hand it over to the private to manage. It is not happening because those in the government want to pocket money.Answered by sumati gayki, 18 Jan '11 02:25 pm
Why govt dont stop her to do so and why this public not objecting to it?Answered by babu rao, 15 Jan '11 01:17 pm
No individual has the constitutional rights to spend money from the State Coffer for his/her own cause. But the 'avenues' are open under the pretext of any welfare scheme, which obviously enjoy the approval of the Assembly/Parliament, if the opposition is irrelevant.
