If wife is correct....either confidentially..support her..but maybe to avoid hurting his mom....heshould...talk to mom...n express his feelibg positively....n if.mom not ready....then just let go...by pacifying wife separately...not infront...
n make his.wife also understand his situations....but communication is a must
