Sand easily & quickly becomes hotter & hotter as the day progress because of the sun rays. obviously there is lack of water as well as trees that helps to become more hotter but in night same sand has also easily cool because there is no sun rays as long as night goes.

Rajastan's geographical location is responsible for that....it's western part is the THAR desert....thatz why the effect of desert is felt at day time which receives the solar temperature quickly making the region hot in the day time.....and releases that temperature quickly to the atmosphere at the beginning of the night .... moreover the cool north-western wind faces no obstruction at night to cool the atmosphere further......

Itz called the CONTINENTAL CLIMATE.....

But Climate in Coastal land is moderate due to the effect of OCEAN .... due to temperate property of the water.....which receives temperature late and releases it late.....thatz why at day time the south-east sea wind keeps the coastal belt cool at day time while the same wind keeps the coastal belt warm at night time bcz the sea water still takes time to release the temperature late......

Because of less greenery and more sand dunes , as Because of it it lacks moisture in air so temp fluctuates very widely
