India has the largest stray dog population in the world. And it is not a good situation from a health and environment perspective. No wonder there are clashes and vibes against people who feed and care for stray dogs. It is time the authorities took steps to control the population coz adopting all of them may not be feasible.

Good suggestion. If many come forward to adopt stray dogs certainly their numbers on the street will be significantly reduced. I have adopted a few from my street.

If you regularly fit street dogs in large numbers, it will be a menace for pedestrians very soon and hospitals will full of patients of hydrophobia.
