In India owner has to handover copy of rent /lease agreement copy to tenant ,is it mandatory ? As per law if not than what to do ?

Rental agreement is good for both.

If you let a portion without agreement no action could be taken.

The owner can keep d original n can handover d copy to tenant. If not than u r not suppose to take dat house on rent

Itz always done as two sets, one for each.
If not, best way is to change the house.
