This dialogue is from the famous movie Maine Pyar Kiya released in the year 1989. It is among the biggest hits of the Bollywood ever. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the forte of the film laid in its simplicity. There were no over the top dialogues, just simple every-day lingo which made cine goers connect with the film instantly. Maine Pyar Kiya was like a breath of fresh air during those times when movies were all about action and gore The movie romanced Bollywood with its fantastic love story. One of the famous dialogues of the movie is Dosti ki hai - nibhani toh padegi. There were other gems like ek jawan ladka aur ek jawan ladki kabhi dost nahi hote and "dosti ka ek usool hai, no sorry, no thanks".
