In a way we can have the confidence, what ever be their short comings Indian politicians have patriotism in them. And as such they won't indulge in anti national activities. Then why are they accusing the opponents of slaves of this country ,that country etc. your comments please

Patriots have a tunnel vision. What fanaticism is to religion, patriotism is to politics. Both fight for a cause within a band of very limited tolerance level. Patriot believe only their path of action is the right path and anybody suggesting or following some other path is not a patriot. For example, the big Bs of freedom movement, Bhagat Singh, Bose and Bapu had the same goal but believed in different paths for reaching that goal. They would have been highly critical of each other. It is quite possible, Bapu considered Bhagat a terrorist and Bose a Fascist. Same way others might have considered Bapu a British stooge. Before independence the fight was for political freedom. Patriotic tag was given to those who were involved in the struggle for political freedom. Even then, patriot belonging to one group did criticize the patriot in the group whose paths were different.
