A Parallelogram is a Quadrangle but a quadrangle need not be a Parallelogram.

In parallalogram opposite two lines are Parallel.
Parallelogram is a quadrangle formed with two sets of parallel lines.

A quadrangle is a polygon with four sides with any angle in total of 360 degrees.
