In a family the mother plays many roles and hence a mother is more to be revered than( I beg your pardon all fathers..)...fathers ? agree or not ?

Yes I agree.... Mother is (In Hinduism) incarnation of Goddess Durga. She has been portrayed with several hands...all meant for a reason. In a family, she has to perform in several roles in the life of a human being, that of mother, wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law. She does every job with due diligence, skilfully, and proper concentration.

I never thought like that. A father is our identity, our security, our strength, A mother is a surety, a shelter, a most comfortable feeling, a solution to our problem, a medicine for our wound and injury. How we can show less or more respect to one parent? Even a toddler will also be confused to say so.
