Q.
In 1980, petrol was costing rs. 7 only. Not it is rs.70 that means ten times rise in 30 years. Does this mean that in 2040 petrol would be rs. 700 then. Ten time rise again from here.

Never expect petrol in 2040...bcz the gulf countries' fossil fuel reserve is going to be exhausted by 2020-25......only USA can use it after that bcz itz now using the fossil fuel of OPEC countries and itz immense petroleum reserve is untouched now....

30 years back...water was free for all..
and today we buy water bottles for Rs. 15/-...that too filled from local wells and purified..
so not surprised about petrol because most of it is imported...and with our economy going for a ride...
it surely could be the price you calculated.....and then this water bottle would cost you Rs. 100/-

Sir I well remember it was just 90 paise per litre in 1971 - just imagine what is the value of rupee now comparatively
