1)Yeah. There is some truth in it. Today we see a lot of change in the mindset of feudal family management system as far as corporate is concerned. However, it does not mean that the feudal mindset is gone. Rather, it has become more modern and sophisticated. Take a look at the corporate landscape.
2)Whether it is Ambani group or Maran Group, their business empire has now been managed by the imported professionals from around the world. The changing business scenario around the world after the introduction of WTO has shrunk the world bringing with it cut throat competition and only the fittest would survive and thrive today. So today, companies owned by the family have adapted themselves to the dawn of new reality and fortunately it works well for them so far. It does not mean that they have given away the controlling stake but they have introduced only professionalism to their work culture.
