The biggest problem is that the Union Goverment as well as those of all states have turned a blind eye towards the education system in India and have forgotten this fact completely that they have an urgent role to play towards this important aspect. Today nobody can become Manmohan Singh or APJ Abdul Kalam unless his parents have sufficient capital and net worth, because if they belonged to such a poor family to which these two greats belonged initially, today's Kalam or Singh can at best become a rickshawpuller or an artisan, barely able to arrange two square meals a day. The most unfortunate part of the story is that although Dr. Kalam has never forgotten his past and his heart still bleeds for the poor and the oppressed ones, others who belonged to a similar background as that of Dr. Kalam and have now acquired a position where they can formulate policies and have got everything at their command to change the fate of India, have completely forgotten their own past and more sadly, h ...more

The biggest problem in the Indian education system--The system patronises memorising and not emphasising practical mode.Also, copying is another menace.
