The House of Worship should be open to all - as God is for ALL. Anyone who has faith should be allowed to enter - and even those who have no faith should be free to enter - so that they may learn the good and pious ways of believers (if they are good and pious and any better than non-believers) and help them (faithless or non-believers) know who God is and how precious each human being is the Lord God - the Creator of ALL. In Christian churches the coloured people were not allowed to enter the churches or even buses! Even Hindu women are not allowed to enter certain temples. The so-called untouchables are not allowed to enter temples in many places. So there is a lot of discrimination practiced by every religion - which does not hold God/Allah/Ishawar/Rab in good stead - for ALL are His children. It is exactly like muslims / christians are not allowed in many of the hindu temples!!!

Upto the time of Guru Nanak non -muslims were allowed but one does not know why it was stopped subsequently

Because it is Muslim strong hold..non Hindus are not allowed in Pashupatinath Temple too..
