Yes because full concentration is given to that hence if someone calls out suddenly I get startled and tend to drop the thing

If the object you are holding is very fragile but precious and you keep concentrating only on that, any amount of yells or shouts or 'someone' calling you loudly make no difference at all, Maha :-)
