Well in India, no punishment on criminal offences can be awarded by any authority other than Judiciary. The judiciary will determine the role of the accused and award punishment only after going through due legal process and as per Indian Penal code. The three hundred seventy fifth section speak about the offence that we are discussing about these and the next section describes the punishment. It is ranging from 3 to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment.

So the time has to be given for catching the offenders, preparation of Charge-sheet and then hearing anf judgment. But for the police, the thumb Rule should to be blind to the political or other nexus of the accused. They should not ever delay in accepting FIR. There should be night patrols.The girls schools or colleges should be kept under strict vigil. We have already many laws for woman security. The main concern is to implement them honestly.

Seperate buses for ladies, seperate classrooms, seperate roads, seperate timings , more time to do work from home, half salary of man for married housewives, and justice should be quick
