Excellent choices. Not only because they all were such major hits,not because they became such a rage with the people,but also because,the genres they belong to are distinct and unique. That makes thsi query brilliant.
Mughal-e-azam...a war epic,it recreated the Mughal Era,with love and family tussle as the background...with history supporting its validity,it carved a niche in the genre with such unique expertise...it still evokes the same kind of viewer ship.
Ram aur Shyam...the weather beaten formula of twins lost and found caper...this one earned a distinction,thanks to the slick direction and slicker performances by the protagonist and the antagonist...the victory of good over evil,with innocence still becoming a winner...appealed to the majority emotionally ...this becoming a yardstick for sibling movies to come.
Henna...a movie on Indo-Pak unity and similarity of lives/values and people...with similar hearts,notwithstanding the LOC...this movie earned the reputation of reachin ...more

10/10 .....all are the best movies.......of there times...but mughal-e-azam ,,,and ddlj ,,,,both are the best.......and one of my fav movies.......lovely lyrics....

Mughal-e azam...henna...these 2 movies are evergreen that cannot be made again in the history of indian cinema...ddlj....jo jeetha woh sikandar and ram aur shym these types of movies are made in several langauges and still now these type of story based movies are realising day by day with slight changes,..so in my view....i will rate mughal-e azam and henna are top for everytime...

ram aur shyam cool-- 3 stars
jo jeeta---------i love it superb---4.5 stars
henna--very romantic and charming--- 3.5 stars
DDLJ------superb lovely , i also believe in love so a 4.5 stars again
