Yes, a bereaved father should have humility and behaved in a matured manner. He unnecessarily over reacted and insulted the CM , representative of the Kerala People. He must express his regrets to the people of Kerala for his behaviour and also to the CM.

NO.. he actually under-reacted. That Marxist should have been harassed more. He was there for publicity, came along with a media person, sniffer dogs, and lot of security and obviously with other chamchas..

Not yet. He have lost his son. His mental position is not so good at present, As a CM he shoud thing about this not only the dirty politics. We will never get back Sandeep ,the real hero of India, but at least we should give Him and his family respect. So, I dont think that Major Sandeep's father have over reacted.

The father of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan over-reacted as witnessed on Televison channels. Major Sandeep was the only son of his parents. He joined NDA and was in NSG. The life of any person in the Defence force of any country is always at risk. Ofcourse there is too much respect also for these personnel especially when they are in Uniform. Relatives, Neighbours, Friends look at these people with AWE. When a person of the rank of a Major in NSG walks and moves around the country side, there is too much respect. He gets instant access anywhere. After all he is protecting our lives.
Now coming to the point of over-reaction, you must have noted that the Major's father was serene and well controlled . The potential energy in his mind gave way to kinetic energy after the cremation of his only son. Unable to bear the loss of his only son, he must have felt there is no meaning to his life anymore. I believe he has no grand children also to carry on his generation which is the purpose of ...more

No, becoz the reaction was a curtain raiser of the view of politicians accordind to them citizens of this country are even not comparable with dogs and only politicians can be dogs moving house to house and beging for votes. And ones they win they become God.
