If the invigilator is watching you while your writing the answer do you feel disturbed?

Never felt disturbed or anything else while writing exams during school and college time or even while appearing for competitive exams for employments as inevitably my whole focus and concentration used to be on the paper and was even unaware of anything being done by the individual sitting besides me on the same bench. But many years later when I was more than thirty five years old, I appeared for a Departmental Competetive Exam for promotion. This was a new policy initiative but when I started writing the answer paper it felt really strange after so many years, the pen was not moving fast, the words and sentences were not flowing from the brain to write answers. I felt very odd and was constantly looking around and to my horror discovered that all other fellow colleagues were writing the answers in great earnest, whereas here was struggling to write one answer properly as I couldn't properly phrase my language and that too wrote very short answers as against the comprehensive ones I

It happened with me many a time, even while wring my Civil Services Main Exams. If you take cognizance of all those, your thought process and coherence will get affected. During such occasions, I become blind to all around and focus my attention only on paper....!
