If onewants to do td, mis or ppf in a po then one has to open many accounts

If po is computerized then, one customer ID can have many accounts. Computer 's DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM take cares of all accounts against one name. If it is a manual system, you will need separate a/cs.

Yes , but deposit scehmes are different. in a bank to , one can have a sb account , one current account , one fixed deposit account and so on. one locker account
