Any music instrument requires dedication and practice, love for it will inspire this.
So if you can do it then maybe 2 to 3 years of intense - say 3 to 4 hours a day - practice should be great.
But it is "blood sweat and tears" till then.
If you have an aptitude then you may cut this a bit shorter.
Persevere, and when your fingers hurt and bleed, use oils and keep on practicing till that falls away and love will take you through.

If u have an ear for music, u may be able to make it quick....coz most of the chords of Bryan's music is C, A# and D., most easiest to learn.

I know you as a funny guy....and they forget things easily......in guitar u have learn and remember hell lot of mechanics and skills..........u need atleast seven births to be a successor of Bryan !!! lolzz :)
