Human beings need objects to do their work for them. You don't see animals looking at a clock and saying "Oh, it's morning"! Their senses tell them that, when they have to be alert and when they can relax etc.

The Vedas say there was a time(Excuse me) when there was no time.Sun never set and night nevercame and theydid not know 'time'.But then one day Yama, the brother of Yami dies and Yami began to cry. She went on crying, and crying and crying..The Gods told her why she is crying. Your brother had died long ago!''Why'Yami countered,'The Sun is still shining. Yama died just now.' Then the gids reakused the need to measure the duration. And they made the Sun to set and rise again. Yami's crying subsided as she also realised that Yama died many days and nights ago.'
It is since then that Time is with us.
Of course Eienstein has cast doubt on that also. Said Times is the Fourth Dimension! So you can satisfy yourself that there is no Time andthe question is superfluous.
