Well he was never a politician.......GANDHI JI was only a leader...................and todays politics have no leaders but only poiliticians who have only one belief ...EVRYTHING IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR.....though they keep switched to only WAR...............:-))

If Gandhi ji was alive, there was no need for him to stand for elections bcz he would have been elected unanimously.

After India attained independence he urged for dissolution of Congress party. Had he been alive today possibly he would have accomplished that.
