If everything belongs to god, are his creations, then why we humans offer flowers, milk, ghee, oil, agarbathi, fruits, garlands to god while worshiping. can we give such items to owner of the company to please him, of which we are employees? Is it acceptable? Will not he laugh at us?
(2) We are so puny that even if we offer the entire world to Him, it will not be adequate. So, it is not the value of the offerings but the feeling and the love behind it that matters.
(3) Offering pleasant gifts to someone, whom you love is practiced in all cultures. In traditional Indian culture, flowers, milk, ghee, oil, agarbathi, fruits, garlands, etc have been considered pleasant things. So they are offered. But if, out of love, you feel like presenting Lord Krishna with a T shirt and a pair of jeans, I do not think that He would mind. He has declared that even if someone offers Me a leaf, a flower or just some water, but with love, then I accept it
(4) Our companies follow the western culture, while flowers, milk, ghee, oil, agarbathi, fruits, garlands are associated with Indian culture. So your boss wold not appreciate them. In western culture, western accessories like ...more

Aap ek patta, ya durba bhi bhagwan ko chadhate hain, to wah useeki prakriti se prapt vastu hai, jise aap bina kuchh kharch kiye prapt kar sakte hain.
Aap kisi mareej ko dekhne jaate hain, phool lekar, phool uskay kis kaam ke ..... but this is gesture of your good will.
