IF a Mu*slim (maulvi/Imam) tear pages of Qur'an (even to frame a false blasphemy charge against non-m*slim)??? Should a blasphemy charge be made against him and sentence him to death????

Blasphemy laws are ridiculous in my opinion. I dunno, if someone tears a page from the book of God, shouldn't God be the one to punish the person?!

You are talking about pakistan based cleric.
it is wrong to destroy a holy book
it is wrong to implicate others for no fault
it is wrong to plant dangerous evidence that may lead to execution of innocent
so it is liking framing innocents or amount to murder as in culpable homicide amounting to murder
in such a case , this imam is an outcast and must be punished.
and yes punishemnt for blasphemy is same for every one and if that applied to a xian girl , must also apply to this cleric.
being a muslim myslef , i fail to understand how can a muslim destroy the holy book.
