My daughter was issued passport by p.o.ndl. around dec/jan 80/81. we want details of her passport.her d/b is 23/10/65.

I agree with what Mr.Rajan says. Further, it is unlikely that a passport issued in 1980-81 would be valid even now as the max. validity of passports is usually 20 years. Your daughter was a minor in 1980/81 and is perhaps married now, with a new name/surname.. It is better if you would file a police FIR and then apply for a fresh passport attaching a copy of the receipted FIR, mentioning in the passport application that the earlier issued passport is not with the applicant. They might ask you to submit an indemnity before they issue a new passport. If you could meet the PRO of the local passport office, he might guide you on the exact procedure.

How can any one have those details you have to go to the passport office from where you gat that passport. and i am sure they will also help you only if yoy know the passport number of file number without this information no one can do anything for you mr bhatt,. by the way where is that passport which was issued in 80/81 and if it has been lost , did u file an FIR with police ????????????????//
