Prativindhya was born to Yudhisthira and Draupadi and was the eldest of the Upapandavas. He was twenty-four years old when Pandavas returned from exile. Abhimanyu was preferred to him by King Virata for his daughter Uttara's hand the marriage. Prativindhya killed Karna's son Chitrasena and a king called Chitra on the fifteenth day of the battle.
