Dear Rohitji, I would say it is partly our Government fault of not creating jobs for the unemployed people who on not getting any job and livelihood then they fall prey to Pakistanis who give them easy money to do against India. Regards Cyrus

I beg to differ on this point rohit bhai, the real fact is that the ARMED FORCES are made scapegoats by the ill thought strategy and foolish steps like opening the borders for trade, and also passengers so that the TERRORISTS in the garb of traders and tourists enter our country and do not go back

I would say FOOLISH STEPS OF THE GOVERNMENT RATHER THAN THE ARMED FORCES

What is lagging is leadership in our country. PM Manmohan Singh is not a mass leader to understand people and politics. He wants the rich to become richer and has no idea about the poor and middle class. That is the present internal situation. Regarding Pakistan we want someonelike Indhira Gandhi to act boldly. In the absence of such leadership we are losing Kashmir slowly.

Indian defence analysts and psychologists have indicated various causes of suicides and fratricides, found in the Indian military, stationed in the Jummu and Kashmir. They have attributed these trends to continuous work under extreme hostile conditions, perpetual threat to life, absence of ideal living conditions, lack of recreational avenues, and of course; the home sickness due to long separation from families.
While other experts have pointed out that the growing stress in the Indian armed forces is owing to low morale, bad service conditions, lack of adequate home leave, unattractive pay and a communication gap with superiors.
The ongoing different war between the Indian state terrorists and the Kashmiri people has proved without any doubt that such elements like will to fight and moral force have been more noted in the latter who have exerted psychological impact of causing fear, shock, mental depression and stress, resulting in demoralisation of the Indian military and paramili ...more

The Pakistanis can only pass on h8 against Indians to Kashmiri people because of the conduct of the armed forces. There are two batches of armed forces. The combat troops and the rear guard paramilitary troops. The combat troops are not OK, but rear guard paramilitary troops are a concern.

The rear guard paramilitary troops are known as CRPF in India, OMON in Russia, and each country has them. The point is when we have terrorists terrorizing a local people and we send in troops, mostly the combat troops are allocated towards the front lines, leaving the areas w/ civilian populations at the mercy of these ill disciplined paramilitary troops. And these rear guard troops compete w/ terrorists on the game of brutality.

If u go to Philippines, there is a very vibrant Kashmiri community there in Manila and in Cebu. No dude, these guys aren't Al-Qaeda, many have married freely into Philippine society and many speak Tagalog, consider themselves as FIlipinos etc. But if u hear their sto ...more
