Many Captains, who were recently fined for their bowlers not finishing within the stipulated time, feel that the limit needs to be relaxed. Do you think the rule should be felxible and does the ban on slow over-rate fit into the IPL Cricket format??
The idea is to make the maximum amount of money. Its okay to fine captains, but banning them is not necessary, especially if they are hardly 5-10 minutes behind schedule. Also, the entire team should not be fined. I think Tendulkar, Dhoni , Gilchrist etc would not have a problem wit paying up, but what about Manvinder Bisla, Harmeet Singh, Parmar etc , they may end up paying more than they earn as fees.

May be it is delaying tactics which they should not do and more or less it is mostly due to fat bowlers who run from a distance every time as slwo bowlers finish their overs fast .But i think let the rules be like that only so that they get the lesson
