I have some thing to share so far unwanted topic of rape....homo-sexuality have been included un fortunately...........

Former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who was himself jailed for homosexuality, has called for their repeal. Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad recently confirmed that the accusation he made to Anwar regarding the homosexuality of Anwar was wrong. Marina Mahathir, the daughter of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, has called for an end to discrimination based on sexual orientation.
Some movements in Islam, such as the Al-Fatiha Foundation, accept and consider homosexuality as natural, either regarding Qur'anic verses as obsolete in the context of modern society, or pointing out that the Qu'ran speaks out against homosexual lust, and is silent on homosexual love. Writer Irshad Manji, a lesbian herself and a staunch critic of Islam, is of the opinion that homosexuality is permissible within Islam; however, it only remains a minority viewpoint.Besides ...more

All religions basically exhort mankind to be righteous and eschew evil. But Islam goes beyond that. It guides us towards practical ways of achieving righteousness and eliminating evil from our individual and collective lives. Islam takes into account human nature and the complexities of human society. Islam is guidance from the Creator Himself. Therefore, Islam is also called the Deen-ul-Fitrah (the natural religion of Man).

U.S.A. has one of the highest rate of Rape
The United States of America is supposed to be one of the most advanced countries of the world. An F.B.I report in the year 1990 says that 1,02,555 cases of rape were reported. It further says that only 16% of the cases of rapes are reported. Thus, in order to know the actual number of rapes that took place in 1990, the reported figure should be multiplied by 6.25. We get a total of 6,40,968 rape cases that took place in the year 1990. If the total is divided by 365 the number of days in a year, we get an average of 1, ...more

Haria Law is interpreted differently by different communities of Muslims. Some are extreme, yes, but most are not. In the same nature, some Jews and Christians are extreme and most are not.

The Sharia Threat must sound silly to most Muslims, since for them Sharia law determines how they conduct their personal religious lives. How can prayer and fasting threaten national security?

The Sharia Threat theory is based on an ill-advised understanding of Sharia law that allows an extremist, anti Muslim group to cherry-pick phrases from Muslim sacred texts. The selected phrases are used to paint an incorrect picture of Sharia law. The same could be done with the Bible, or the Torah.

"Sharia" is a religious code of living which boosts moral system. The two greatest original founders of Sharia law were Malik ibn Anas and Ibn al-Shaf'i. Anas established the Maliki school of jurisprudence. Al-Shaf'i was one of Anas' students; he disagreed with his teacher about the reliability of the hadith. He felt that it was necessary to trace each hadith from the time of Muhammad through its chain of devout Muslims. This concern led to Islamic scholars considering "... which hadith were true and which were not." Needless to say this led to CONFLICTS among scholars as to the proper application of Sharia law....

There are four main schools of Sharia law:
1. Hanbali: This is the most conservative school of Shari'a. It is used in Saudi Arabia and some states in Northern Nigeria.
2. Hanifi: This is the most liberal school, and is relatively open to modern ideas.
3. Maliki: This is based on the practices of the people of Medina during Muhammad's lifetime.
4. Shafi'i: This is a ...more

For your kind information "Sharia Law" is not fully imposed even in Saudi Arabia. (where the thief get chop his hand after theft, the rapist hang with neck, no court, no case only two eye witness is enough for punishment)
If there (in swat velley ) would have been imposed Sharia Law then nobody will migrate.
But the problem is with the Ruler, he himself donot know how to follow the rules of Sharia.
