Yes no problem as they dont hurt travellers but their target is always the military as loosing the travellers means their loss

It is certaily a very beautiful place and hopefully with the govt. security in place it shoild be safe too. Otherwise i suggest you go to Udaipur in Rajasthan. It has the same beauty and is much safer.

THERE IS NO PLACE IN WORLD TO BE CALLED AS "SAFE PLACE"

Etymologically Srinagar is composed of two Sanskrit words, namely, Sri (meaning abundance and wealth) and Nagar, which means a city. Thus, the word Srinagar.

Situated at the center of the Kashmir valley, Srinagar is the most populous district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India.

Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1730 m above sea level.

Srinagar district has 2 Tehsils: Srinagar South and Srinagar North.

Darte darte honeymoon karne me kya maza hai ? Go to Manali or Darjeeling.. Both are more beautiful ..When you are in a group or company, you are more safe in Kashmir..Do that trip later.
