Read on suman..

NEW DELHI 1 Jun 2008: For the first time ever, Islamic seminary Darul-Uloom Deoband issued a fatwa against terrorism on Saturday, stating Islam had come to wipe out all kinds of terrorism and to spread the message of global peace. The Darul-Uloom had denounced terrorism for the first time in February, but had not issued a fatwa so far.

Saturdays fatwa, signed by Darul-Ulooms grand mufti Habibur Rehman, asserts that "Islam rejects all kinds of unjust violence, breach of peace, bloodshed, murder and plunder and does not allow it in any form".

Citing the "sinister campaign" to malign "Islamic faith...by linking terrorism with Islam and distorting the meanings of Quranic Verses and Prophet traditions", Mahmood Asad Madani, leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, had wanted Deoband to spell out the stand of Islam on world peace.

Thoughts on Terror

To the contrary, Muslim leaders I have spoken to and whose statements I have read (mainly in the Urdu press, because most other papers simply ignore their voices) have repeatedly stressed"and are also doing so now, in the wake of the Delhi blasts"that if, as is being alleged, SIMI activists or some other Muslims were behind these, stern action"even capital punishment"should be meted out to them, for bomb blasts in which innocents die, they say, is not only again ...more

Its all fake. Those are not real muslims. Some one in their guise is causing all problems for vote banks. Many scholars and religious leaders have condemned this shameless act as being unislamic. Media never focusses on these things so public is not aware of how much common muslim population hates these terrorist attacks.

."In The Name of Allah" is what all true muslims do in their daily chores.
But this ."In The Name of Allah" could be different from true.
