Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is an international certification program being conducted in the country by Financial Planning Standard Board (FPSB), India. Financial Planning is one of the fastest growing careers across the world. Being one of the fastest growing economies, the demand for Financial Planners is expected to reach 50,000 by 2010. CFP, which is offered by FPSB India, (visit: _www.fpsbindia.org is considered as Gold Standard for Financial Planners.
FPSB, India is affiliated to FPSB, US.
Currently there are only around 328 Certified Financial Planners (CFP^CM ) certificants in India.
