How many demat accounts i can hold? i am having one with bonanza portfolio, but i want one with hdfc for online also. please advice

FRIEND,
THERE IS NO RESTRICTION ON OPENING MORE THAN ONE DEMAT ACCOUNT.
HOWEVER NOW A DAYS ONLINE TRADE BROKERS ARE OFFERING DEMAT ACCOUNT FREE OF AMC , FIRST SELECT BROKER FOR TRADING THEN OPEN DEMAT ACCOUNT WITH HIM.

U can have as many as u woish but u can apply for ipo in only one dematt
