X5 personal choice as i fancy bmw vehicles. X5 is expensive than Q7. both got 7 seat options now. if i keep apart my personal choice i can say Q7 got an classy appearance and better comfy, rich interiors. i think from drivers point of view X5 would be great to drive around. Q7 and X5 cant be used for off road driving or can say you got to be very careful unlike mitsubishi\'s montero/ toyota\'s landcruiser. they are too big for city driving so best is to hit on highways.
you could also consider - Cayenne, Range Rover and less expensive models like Landcruiser and Montero.
