Whats your opinion about the corporate restructuring of HLL to HUL? Do u think will it make a big difference in their business??

Personal opinion is to an end user, it won't matter in the least. HLL is like a mother brand to Indians, re-naming won't matter much. An average Indian's day starts with Colgate (I know not a HLL brand, but expected takeover is in the wings, one can use Close-up or Pepsodent meanwhile!), freshens-up with Lux, glitter up with Lakme, deodorize with Pond's, shines with Surf, revives with Taj...and ends with a Kwality on sweeter days. So know or not, there is a bit of HLL in all of us... look around, at least at one point of time in life :) Infact some of the HLL brands resemble small companies in turnover, with their usual strategy of establishing a cornerstone brand with an array of flanking brands. The marketing of powerhouse HLL is unparallel, won't go into details about that. Just a change in name & logo won't matter there. In fact Indians fall more for brands with 'international' touch.
