The most severe punishment for the misdeeds of a person is his/ her agony of guilt and shame of his conduct. The politicians in general and the scam-tainted ones in particular with no conscience will suffer the least even with great punishment; one of the reasons for their steady multiplication while a few fair one's number dwindling fast.
