The IATA certificates are honoured by all the airlines and travel offices throughout the world. There is a wide variety of IATA programmes.

IATA is a global trade organisation, with its head office at Montreal, Canada. It provides standards and recommended practices for airline operations. It represents nearly 230 airlines comprising 93 per cent of scheduled international air traffic. One of its several functions is training.
