In fact Mhatma Gandhi wished to wind up Congress after independence after completing its mission of achieving independence , but greed for power scored over the selfless service to the nation . Congress did not accept Netaji as its President who had to resign after getting elected duly in the Bhubaneshwar convention , it did not allow Sardar Patel to be the Prime minister , because of whom is well known and can be seen from history .
