I am at a loss to understand this pathetic performance.

What is baffling us is the collective failure of the team. There was hardly any individual brilliance even. This has not happened so regularly in the recent past. I thought they did better in England compared to this tour. Indians have played much better quality attack than this Aussies [Not taking away any credit from them though]. That's why I say it is very baffling.

Only till recently we were praising the team [even in the absence of Anil Kumble] for their winning streak [though at home] and in no time, we have lost all our credibility as a good team.

None of the bowlers is performing well. Less said about the batsmen, better it is.

It may be one of the reason of our failures. Moreover, Harbajan is also out fo form. Moreover, spinners as well as fast bowlers work in tandom but it has not happened in India. The other thing is that seniors along with juniors failed to deliver in right moment. The other important thing is even in bouncy pitches like Australia our fast bowlers have not delivered. During Ganguly era , Isshant and other bowlers performed exceptionally well and even in Kumble's reign they performed better even winning at the bouncy track at Perth. but this time, what happened no body knows. It is a collective failure as a team. Let us hope better sense prevails and selectors prepare good ptiches which helps spinners as well as fast bowlers at home and sponsor upcoming bowlers and batsman to go and play bouncy pitches of Australia , South Africa and England etc, then it will do lot of good for the team and can win overseas tour. Let us hope for the best BCCI learns from the mistakes and act accordingly ...more
