Q.

I think that Anna Hazare is a very important landmark in the Indian politics.
Because after successfully having made him ineffective by making him look ridiculous in the eyes of public and beaten Ram Dev into oblivion the netas are now convinced that no one can touch them
As a result they have become openly brazen in their arrogant behavior with public

Anna Hazare's episode and his crusade against corruption ended with a note that we are the "Hollow men and we are the stuffed men" whom the winds can flow away and the floods can wash away.

You are right and this is their downfall since now public knows that how cunning politicians are .Its been seen by public how jan lokpal bill was dealt by politicians and now public should go to vote and vote lesser known candidates everytime to give them chance to perform.

I don't think this country's netas have started their arrogant ways after 'doing away' with Anna Hazare and Ramdev. The power that has gone to rascals and found its way to their heads, has been evident immediately after Independence. The feudalistic mindset was always there and we know about Sanjay Gandhi (later Raja Bhayyia types too) slapping DCs and SPs and Sanjay Singh types arranging for murders of husbands of women they crave for (Badminton players or any other players) and getting away with it. Today we see MLAs going Scot free after slapping policemen on duty in Mumbai (and elsewhere) and the policeman going to jail.
