Q.

I read some one in QNA trying to down play the achievement of Ashwin against New Zealand by saying -----nothing great about this because this was achieved against the weakest cricket team in the world. Do you agree with this comment? Yes or No ---Why?

Ashwin on many occasions shown good results even while playing some of the best teams... He is a good player and down playing his achievement against New Zealand is a bit unfair...

Not at all.Aswini is a quality spinner n did his home work well in advance n got the success. He did it n will do it against other teams. The only difference,he may take more wickets in the home ground n less in foreign soil because of the pitch conditions.

Any fool can critisize and condemn but I feel he is proving himself as a great asset for Indian team in all forms of game and in all types of pitch ..........he was the Man of the Series in the 2010 Champions League played in South Africa on fastest track .....in T 20 he opened the bowling, bowled at death, came on when wickets were required. In fact, Ashwin is one of the rare players who actually came up through the IPL and was good enough to hold his own in bigger forms of cricket....His batting average in test and T20 is also over 35 with a century and half century under his belt
