I have seen the status in the passport website that, "Police report has not been recieved".
Please do the needful in this issue.

Hello dear Uma, I would suggest to go to the police station for your area and ask for passport enquiry officer give talk to them and get the work done you may be asked to give bribe thats the way it works in India ( thats why I love India) you can bargain to 200 - 300/500 rupees. It works !!!
